Silent Hill: Origins (also known as Silent Hill Zero in Japan) is the fifth installment in the Silent Hill survival horror series, developed and published by Konami and Climax Studios for the Sony PlayStation Portable. It was first released in North America on November 6, 2007. and was re-released on PlayStation 2 by Monolith Productions in March 4, 2008 (North America release date) This game is a prequel, set 7 years before the first game, and intended to explain the series's eponymous town's backstory.
