A sphere is a symmetrical geometrical object. Thus, in three dimensions, a mathematical sphere is considered to be a two-dimensional spherical surface embedded in three-dimensional space, rather than the volume contained within it (which mathematicians would instead describe as a ball). The fixed point is called the center or centre, and is not part of the sphere itself. |

Ok, this amazing house is the almost finished Steel House by the artist Robert Bruno. The house build near the city of Lubbock in Texas. It sits on the edge of a cliff, overlooking the lake. Bruno has been working on this house for almost 3 decades, and it is almost complete. |

Icebergs in the Antarctic area sometimes have stripes, formed by layers of snow that react to different conditions. Blue stripes are often created when a crevice in the ice sheet fills up with meltwater and freezes so quickly that no bubbles form. When an iceberg falls into the sea, a layer of salty seawater can freeze to the underside. If this is rich in algae, it can form a green stripe. Brown, black and yellow lines are caused by sediment, picked up when the ice sheet grinds downhill towards the sea. |
